The Barbados Judo Association was established on August 26, 1966. It was registered as a charity in 1992. Currently there are four (4) clubs in the Association; Elite Judo Academy, Keikath School of Martial Arts, Marine Gardens Judo Club and Phoenix Judo Club. Membership stands at approximately one hundred and eighty composed of both competitors and non-competitors.
An Executive Committee comprised of a President, General Secretary, Treasurer, and its Directors are charged with the administration of the Association.
The Headquarters of the Association is located at the National Stadium, Waterford, St. Michael.
